kuro surface table

Kuro surface table

$2,200.00 usd

4×4 posts establish the primary structure, while 2×6 members create a surface that brings the wood grain into focus and celebrates the subtle shifts between each unit. The exposed end caps act as both a structural element and a refined expression of detail.

Standing just 14 inches high, Kuro emphasizes a low, grounded presence. As the first piece in the collection to be charred, it marked the beginning of a deeper exploration into fire as a finishing process. The flame reveals the natural depth of the grain and leaves behind subtle variations unique to every piece before the surface is protected with a durable matte finish.

Material: untreated kiln dried 2×6 & 4×4 pine, threaded steel rods, steel washers, bolts and end caps.

Finish: Hand-charred and sealed with a durable matte, water-based protective finish.

LxHxW: 54in x 14in x 30in
